Yoshihisa Kashima

Overview

Yoshihisa Kashima is Professor of Psychology at the University of Melbourne. His research is concerned with cultural dynamics – the formation, maintenance, and transformation of culture over time. His most recent research focuses on the role of ideologies in public opinion dynamics. He has written more than 200 academic articles, including those in Science, Nature Climate Change, Psychological Review, Psychological Bulletin, American Psychologist, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and served as the President of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology
